Ediboo Clothing

Roles: Web design and development, identity design, photography and implementation.
Overview: Ediboo Clothing is an upscale, urban line of female apparel. They came in need of a visual makeover and a fully functional eCommerce solution to replace their former online presence: a MySpace page.
Services Provided: HandCanon designed and built a sexy and stylized website guided by the client’s targeted demographic information, established color palette and technical requirements. Starting with a logo revision, the site was given a fresh face, an integrated shopping cart and interactive features, all built atop an easily administrated open-source CMS.

McKinnon Massage
-
Roles: Custom PHP/HTML development, user interface design, implementation and maintenance.
Overview: Seeking to update their already well-established existing site, McKinnon Massage wanted to lose their old tables, and embrace web standards. They also wanted to add functionality to both the front and back-end for a richer user experience and easy site management.
Services Provided: HandCanon HTMLized the design provided by inktankdesign.com and built a template based front-end to the client’s specifications. jQuery was implemented to reduce strain on the database and to provide a better UX.
The most dramatic improvement came from the easier-to-use and more intuitive class registration process. The back-end was updated as well and the sum of these changes resulted in multiple benefits: reducing page load and bringing an increase in visitors due to search engine friendly mark-up.
